Someone asked us one time at a webinar, “what happens when the institutional behavior patterns start to change? Do you have to wait a week to see the changes?”…
That one question spawned the creation of the powerful FLUX FLASHBACK time analysis. FLASHBACK searches the previous day, or several days or more to find localized repeating time behavior patterns. In simple terms, FLUX HISTOGRAMS finds DAY specific patterns (Monday, Thursday, etc) but FLASHBACK finds recent cycles that have just occurred…yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. If the FLUX HISTOGRAMS indicator finds vertical patterns on your calendar, the FLUX FLASHBACK histograms finds the horizontal patterns, as new cycles are born and evolve.

FLUX Flashback Histograms
Features
- Easily uncovers institutional behavioral time cycles across any time frame…from 1 minute through 4 hour bars. Time cycles based on day specific behavior patterns that recur in the data.
- Discovers behavioral cycles through either a TREND filter (PowerZones) or through MOMENTUME filters (AMACD, ACCI, ASTOCH, ADSTOCH)
- Discovers behavioral cycles through a VOLUME filter (AVOL)
- Displays institutional behavioral cycles for the next 24 hours
- Displays a line indicating where you are on the histogram in time, so you can visualize what moves are potentially about to recur and repeat in real time
- Open parameter variables allow you to customize default settings
